the majority of the thank you call again group communicated frequently which resulted in the final collection of branding being visually cohesive and contextually relevant.
compromising on design aesthetic was at first challenging as i predominantly make illustration based work, having group members who favoured digital design was expected and it became apparent at the start that i would have to adjust the style i’m comfortable with working with in order to work efficiently with other designers.
The end result is something which i do think is successful, seeing each members designs all together (opposite) demonstrates how each member understood the brief, understood our groups focus and efficiently created a series of cohesive designs.
the final collection of designs to group produced all work together and communicate the concept of disposability, if we were to approach the brief again i believe deciding on a clear visual at the start would of provided us with more room for development, rather than having a number of ideas and trying to make them all work together; which we’ve come to realise isn’t the way to approach a branding brief as every element needs to be cohesive.
