Making the head

I began to construct the head using the chicken wire paper mache approach I previously discussed.
As I began to attempt to construct the head shaped wire structure I realised two things

  1. Normal scissors will not cut through chicken wire (you will stab yourself)
  2. Chicken wire isn't as easy to mould as previously thought, and theirs also the high risk of someone getting hurt if they wear the mask due to all the ends of the mask.

I then decided to take a new approach using a large balloon and paper mache. The balloon approach is working more successfully this time, the ease of assembling a shape allowed more time for applying the actual paper mache (to both the balloon and my jeans), which I wasn't aware takes at least 24 hours to dry the first layer; so it appears it was a wise move abandoning the chicken wire as I haven't got time to lose.
