shoot planning (sb2)

As the concept behind the designs focus around giving the power back to women, and showing that they're not alone no matter what they're going through i thought it would be appropriate to have 5 different models within the shoot, to represent the 5 different designs, i also thought that it would be appropriate to have the models interacting with each other, again to show that whatever you're going through you're not alone.
Above (and below) are some examples of the kind of aesthetic i want to achieve for the product images, initially i thought that i wanted to include props and perhaps shoot it in a location where the models can interact with things, however it think the bottom image is very effective due to the fact that the clothing is able to stand out against the harmonious backdrop; which is something i need to ensure as these images will eventually be used on The Prawn Shop website and so the clothing needs to be seen clearly.
I think a concept which could work quite well is to shoot the models in predominately medium close up shots; so the design can be seen clearly, with all the models in a line, interacting with each other for example leaning on each other/holding hands in order to show the support women can provide for each other. I think having a coloured sheet/backdrop in perhaps a purple or blue tone will also work well in being cohesive with the t-shirt designs, i then think illustrating on top of the images will be effective, illustrating perhaps typography or illustrations relating to the quotes on the t-shirts, or perhaps writing a statement which outlines the intent of the project and the inspiration behind the designs.
I want to shoot the images myself as i really want to increase my photography skills as i feel it will come in handy for later projects.
