I began to experiment with the best medium to illustrate the tie designs in, from top left to bottom right there's broad felt tip pen, pencil crayon, watercolor pen and black fine liner.
After researching more in to the new romantic bands album covers i believe the bottom right medium (fine liner) is the most appropriate.
As seen above, the bands album covers all have quite a clean cut design approach, hence why i think using the fine liner is the best option, rather than say the pencil crayon which would create quite a sketchy style which isn't that relevant for the genre and the bands being featured.
