I believe the approach to this brief was successful in communicating the brand through such a small product. Although the outcome is not traditionally related to soap, i believe the idea behind it and the design process make it a more contextually interesting piece of design.
The overall designs i believe are very appropriate and have the strength to work alone, when not alongside a quote, further to this i think the colour scheme really pushes the design in to a piece which is clearly influenced by it’s context.
Receiving the opinions of peers when making design decisions was useful, not because there opinions were used but rather because they informed me to research in to the idea more to provide a stronger sense of context for the design decisions made, although there are still hesitations about the colour scheme but that’s likely to come from a difference in aesthetic opinions.
Critiques have been made that the product doesn’t really advertise vice, although i’m not sure if i agree with that opinion. The product gives the viewer a slight insight in to the media platform, allowing hem to make the decision whether to look in to it further.
