Evaluation

Throughout the duration of this module the process of creating a piece of design, i believe, has been explored a lot more thoroughly than in previous projects. At the beginning of each brief i set out an idea of what i was going to produce, for wayfinding the concept stayed the same; it was the designs which were changed and altered along with the materials and techniques which were most appropriate. On the other hand, the process of creating a final outcome for the object brief was more like an exploration of trial and error, exploring the design process through experimenting not with an extensive use of materials like in the wayfinding brief, rather the process of creating work which accompanied the context correctly.
The wayfinding outcomes, i believe, are the most successful in showing the outcomes which can be created after experimenting with a number of methods, the outcomes seem more complete and more considered. Although i do like the designs of the object brief, i believe completing a more extensive series of possible designs would of benefited the final outcome.
