The event which i will be creating a celebratory poster for is the first Yorkshire UFO Meeting which took place on North Street, Leeds in 1979.
My research will focus around the theme of aliens and the location the meeting took place.
Below are some designs of old school alien horror movie posters, i really like the use of type and colours of these and i will look in to how i could perhaps emulate some of the style within my own design, as i believe the time period of the meeting and the time that these posters were designed are similar and would allow me to produce a more contextually informed A3 poster print.
